Dressember 2016 Recap
Last month, Noonday once again teamed up with Dressember in the fight against human trafficking and exploitation. If you are unfamiliar with Dressember, it is a collaborative movement leveraging fashion and creativity to restore dignity to all women. Dressember uses fashion to advocate for women who have been exploited. As women take on the creative challenge of wearing a dress for the 31 days of December, they are advocating for the inherent dignity of all women.
In honor of this wonderful movement, we offered free product incentives for Noonday Ambassadors who met certain fundraising thresholds. To help everyone stay creative with their outfits (and hopefully win free products!), we also offered daily inspiration with style ideas for every day of the month. Here’s a recap of some of our favorite looks out there from our Ambassador community!
We loved this classic look by Noonday Ambassador Liz Debruyn! Paired with one of our best-sellers, the Bethe Rope Necklace, this look makes classic even cooler.
The Harmony Layered Necklace is the perfect piece to pair with this t-shirt dress worn by Noonday Ambassador Courtney Hagan. With layers already built in, this necklace is an easy way to pull any look together. Plus, we’re digging this nod towards our theme of “Fabulous in Flannel”.
Noonday Ambassador Kerry Little managed to do the whole month of Dressember with her daughter! This was them on “Twinning Day” (be still my heart). We love how Kerry’s been able to teach her daughter at such a young age about the fight for women’s dignity worldwide!
Although the Dressember fashion challenge has come to an end, it is not too late to get involved! You can still donate to this wonderful cause through the Dressember website here. Every donation received helps us get one step closer to putting an end to worldwide trafficking and exploitation of women. Please join us in the fight!
